Ficat aims to collaborate with the entire network of public and private entities dedicated to the most vulnerable groups, to carry out a coordinated, rigorous, and effective work.
EICA Casc Antic
EICA Casc Antic is an association that has been working for more than 30 years for the integration of the residents of the Old Quarter of Barcelona. The socio-educational intervention program for social inclusion from which EICA works is structured around four areas of action: reception/welcome, mediation, education, and participation, among which a dynamic relationship is established.
Catalan Federation of NGOs for Human Rights
It was created in 1994 and today brings together some thirty associations of Catalonia including the Ficat Foundation, which, from various perspectives, work for the defense and promotion of human rights. We understand that human rights are universal, indivisible, and interdependent, so it is important that civil society mobilize to promote human rights and require States to guarantee compliance.
Universidy of Barcelona
The university internship project offers the possibility for students to learn the practice of law in the case of graduates in law or management of private entities, in the case of graduates in management and public administration.
Xarxa de Joves Sense Llar
A network of entities that have shelter resources for young people, basically migrants and unaccompanied minors, and adults. It is made up of: Casal els Infants, La Caseta, Benallar, Cehda, Llar Trobada y Putxet, as central entities. Ficat applied to this network of entities to offer legal support.
Municipal Council of Immigration
FICAT Private Foundation was part of the council from January 1, 2012 to June 2015. Within this council, we participated in the Legal Work group with the main entities of the sector. The council also participates in several meetings and exhibitions that are held jointly.
Board of the third sector
Ficat also collaborates with different “Boards”, among them, boards from the third sector and the board of penitentiary. These “boards” have as their main mission to influence Catalan social policies, with the aim of improving the well-being of people and achieving their full social inclusion.
